EP LOGISTICS INTERNATIONAL GROUP INTRODUCES CEREx: AN INNOVATIVE FREIGHT CORRIDOR CONNECTING CENTRAL EUROPE

At the Transport Logistic 2025 trade fair in Munich, the EPLI Group announced the launch of the Central European Rail Express (CEREx) project – a specialized freight rail service connecting Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Operations are set to begin in January 2026.

Secured train paths, including border crossings
A true alternative to road freight – with fixed timetables and competitive pricing
Support for trade flows across Eastern, Central, and Western Europe
Dedicated routes = predictability and elimination of capacity bottlenecks
The project is supported by all railway operators within the EPLI Group. Operational timetables and commercial offers are currently being finalized. A dedicated project website will be launched before the start of operations.
